Don't know who to vote for? Platform lists pro-LGBT candidacies

The elections for deputies, senators, governors and president are approaching, and more than ever it is essential to elect LGBT politicians or those who are allies of the cause.

To help you decide who to vote for, the National LGBTI+ Alliance listed 74 names for whom you can vote, 39 of which are part of our community and 35 are supporterss.

Of the 39 who are part of the community, 17 are gay, 8 lesbian, 8 heterosexual, 3 bisexual, 2 pansexual and 1 defined as "other".

"It is essential not to be afraid of politics, not to criminalize it, not to demonize it, but to have a transparent, ethical and open dialogue with the candidacies of LGBTI+ people and allied people who have committed to our platform", said Toni Reis, one of the program coordinators.

"We will recommend voting for those who have made a commitment to our platform. We will authorize publishing materials on our social networks and we ask our affiliates and partnerships to do the same. We have to have a side, and our side is that of democracy and not barbarism" , he completed.
