Netflix confirmed that it will make the Brazilian version of the reality show Queer Eye. The announcement was made on the podcast Episode, from the newspaper Estadão.

Inspired by the classic Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, the streaming platform's reality show debuted in 2018 and, since then, has been a huge success. Set in the United States, Queer Eye shows five gay men – specialized in gastronomy, fashion, aesthetics, decoration and culture – revamping people's looks (and lives).

In the American version, which won multiple Emmy awards, the cast is made up of favorites Jonathan Van Ness, Antoni Porowski, Bobby Berk, Karamo Brown and Tan France.
