In interview with the magazine Complex, Nick Jonas revealed why he recently refused to answer if he had already lived a homosexual experience.
The singer and actor who is in the series Empire, where he plays a homosexual character, revealed that he cannot say that he has never had a homosexual relationship, since even in the character, he is still "Nick" himself.
"It's funny. I play a gay character on a TV show. Whether it's me or the character, at the end of the day, it's still my body. It's the character and his journey, but it's my body, my lips, my hands," he said.
An icon for the gay public, Nick also said that he has no problem opening up – in the way he does – to the LGBT universe.
"There will always be negativity surrounding something that is a positive effort for change. As a straight man, I am open and comfortable about loving my fans, gay or straight, because to me there is no difference, they are my fans.
