The artist declared on her first visit to Brazil that the fight against AIDS has always been an action that she has been involved in because of her fans and friends. And she stressed that she lost dancers and drag queens from her show during the disease boom.

"30 years ago, I lived in Las Vegas and there were rumors about gay cancer and I didn't know what it was. Then I saw that children also died and I saw that it's not gay cancer. We've lost so many people we love and that's why I grieve against AIDS", said the artist, receiving a standing ovation from everyone.

On Thursday (9), she visited SP-Arte at the Biennial Pavilion, in Ibirapuera Park. And on Saturday (11), she "did the cute thing" and surprised the fans who were waiting for her in front of the luxurious hotel where she was staying. Due to a request from the artist herself, the hotel let in all of the approximately 50 fans who were waiting for her outside and the singer signed autographs, took photos with everyone (yes, everyone!) and even chatted with some.

O THE CAPE, who was face to face with the singer, spoke about her importance for the LGBT community and her loving contact as the mother of a transgender child. Cher smiled, took a photo and said, "that's right, thank you."

Afterwards, he stated that he didn't know he had so many Brazilian fans and promised to include the country on his tour. "I never imagined that I would have fans in Brazil. I made the same mistake with Mexico, which I finally corrected on my penultimate tour and it was a success. I promise that I won't make that mistake again and I intend, soon, to have a lot of fun doing a show in Brazil" .

We wait!
