Record's next soap opera, "Bela, a feia", will have a gay couple in its plot. To bring the characters to life, actors Sérgio Menezes and Daniel Erthal were chosen.
The two will live together, but Daniel's character, Diego, as usual in serials produced here, will also get involved with women.
Actor João Camargo also reinforces the soap opera's "rainbow" team. He will be the affected Haroldo, owner of a beauty salon.
"Bela, la feia" is scheduled to premiere on July 28, on a Tuesday.
