No one expected this. Serginho Orgastic, who participated in the 10th edition of Big Brother Brasil, became a candidate for São Paulo councilor last Sunday (24) for the PSD (Social Democratic Party), run by Mayor Gilberto Kassab.
During the party convention, the former BBB announced his decision and explained that he had already received other proposals, but decided to choose the PSD because he shared the same values as the party.
On his Twitter page, Serginho wrote that his "political ideal is democracy, so that every man is respected as an individual and none venerated." Despite appearing engaged, the former BBB revealed that he never thought about being a politician.
"I never thought about being a politician, I was never involved. But my father and brother told me, 'Wow, Sérgio, people are looking for you'", declared Serginho, justifying his candidacy.
The first round of the 2012 Elections takes place on October 7th, in cities where there may be a second round, it will be held on October 28th.
