Bolsonaro's bread and circuses

Please, bring me the bread, warm with melting butter... Because I'm already full of the circus, my love... Even more so the circus of Jair Bolsonaro, Rio deputy from the Progressive Party (what an inconsistency!). After all, how can someone who defends the Military Dictatorship call themselves progressive? But in Brazil, as everything is really messed up, it must be worth it...

After receiving an email and an invitation to record a program, which promises to be amazing, I started to sort my things – among them, the family jewels that crossed the Atlantic – and left the TV turned on to CQC, the network's program Bandeirantes with Marcelo Tas, Marco Luque and Rafael Bastos. I almost ripped a steak off my finger when I saw that deputy, Bolsonaro, on the screen. He was participating in the show "people want to know" (watch below), where people ask questions and the guest answers. Full plate for the deputy to lift the tarpaulin and start the show in his arena. Among the questions, one asked if he missed former president Lula, to which he replied: "No, not at all, right? I miss serious people like Médici, Geisel, Figueiredo" (all presidents at the time of Military dictatorship). What he would do if he had a gay son was another question asked and he replied: "That doesn't even cross my mind because they had a good education. I was a present father, so I don't take that risk." In fact, the deputy's son was in the crosshairs. Preta Gil asked Bolsonaro what he would do if his son fell in love with a black woman. And again, the deputy already went to the dock and said: "Oh, Preta. I'm not going to discuss promiscuity with anyone. I don't run that risk and my children were very well educated and didn't live in an environment, as unfortunately, is the your".

That he is not at all progressive, that he is homophobic and that he loves to make statements to attract the media spotlight, everyone is tired of knowing this. In fact, a drag queen understands baphos and spotlights very well... Now, that nonsense he responded to Preta Gil was the most senseless thing I've ever heard in my life. And look, I've heard some nonsense, huh, mona? Firstly, because it doesn't directly answer the question she asked (or so the person who made the edit was asking). Even though he responded exactly like this without any sense, which is also not to be doubted – there are political debates that won't let me lie – everything was very strange, leaving room for the most diverse interpretations. So, a well-educated white person doesn't date a black person? I don't understand... And whoever said promiscuity, because Preta didn't even say that word... Guys, I'm a little confused until now. Or is it because I mixed hormones with Rivotril?

Joking aside, we need to be attentive during election time and vote very carefully. What's more, we need to do something urgently against Bolsonaro's attitudes. We have to clog the email address of the chamber's Human Rights Commission and show how much we are offended by the ex-soldier's statements. I advise you to finish reading the post and then do this. The address is: cdh@camara.gov.br,

Bolsonaro, pay attention: Coronelismo only looks good in Jorge Amado's books and Ditadura Militar in a TV series... Think again, sweetie!
