An unauthorized biography of Oprah Winfrey, 56, once again discusses the alleged lesbian past of the famous American presenter.
Written by Kitty Kelley, the book concludes that there is in fact no information that would lead the public to believe in the relationship between Winfrey and her best friend Gayle King.
“Oprah: A Biography” was written without Oprah Winfrey's consent and hits US bookstores this Tuesday. Despite denying that the presenter is a lesbian, the author mentioned the statements made by actress Rosie O'Donnell, an open lesbian, to the newspaper “USA Today” in 2009, in which she stated that the friendship between Oprah and Gayle had a sentimental character “equivalent to of a gay relationship.”
In 2011, Oprah Winfrey will debut a new talk show, which will be shown on OWN.
