A 24-year-old young woman, born in Rio das Ostras, in Rio de Janeiro, made an outburst on social media, after being kicked out of the house by her father upon discovering that she was going to marry her girlfriend. Furthermore, the man accuses his wife of “not knowing how to raise children” and, for this reason, the young woman would have “become” a lesbian. In an interview with Catraca Livre, the woman, who asked not to have her identity revealed, reported that she has been out “for a few years, but my parents are one of those who prefer to pretend that this doesn’t exist and don’t even comment.” “Everything was fine while no one knew about the relationship, but when I talked about the wedding, they kind of freaked out and weren't talking to me properly anymore. The whole story happened the day I sent out the [wedding] invitations,” she said.
