10 – Womanizer (Live at Bambi Awards 2008)
Right after the whole turbulent phase, the 2007 VMA fiasco and with a new album coming, Britney performs at the Australian Bambi Awards with her single Womanizer. It was her first performance after the VMAs.
09 – Gimme More (Live at Video Music Awards 2007)
In the midst of a mental breakdown, Britney agrees to present her new single (at the time) at one of the most important music awards, the MTV VMAs. The original plan was changed at the last minute and Britney entered the stage apparently "lost", making mistakes in the playback and almost not being able to follow the choreography. Considered by many to be a real fiasco, the performance went down in MTV history and Britney's history.
08 – S&M with Rihanna (Live at Billboard Music Awards 2011)
Britney has never been one for many musical partnerships, the most important being with Madonna in Me Against The Music (2003). In 2011, she teamed up with Rihanna to make a remix version of the single S&M and even performed at the Billboard Music Awards. Despite it being a participation, upon entering the stage, Britney received a standing ovation from everyone at the awards ceremony.
07 – …Baby One More Time (Live At Dream Within A Dream Tour)
Rain, fireworks, dancing and sensuality marked this closing performance of Britney's second world tour, with her first hit: …Baby One More Time.
06 – (I can't get no) Satisfaction/Oops.! I Did it Again
(Live at Video Music Awards 2000) In her second appearance at the VMAs, Britney performed a medley of "Satisfaction" (original by Rolling Stone) along with her hit "Oops…! I Did It Again". In the middle of the performance, Spears simulates a striptease on stage which generated a lot of controversy at the time, as they claimed that the outfit was transparent and inappropriate.
05 – Toxic (Live At NRJ Music Awards 2004)
One of the best performances of the song Toxic, released as a single in 2004. The performance was at the famous NRJ Music Awards held in France. It is among the fans' favorites.
04 – The Way You Make Me Feel com Michael Jackson (Live at 30th Anniversary)
Few had the privilege of performing with the King of Pop, Michael Jackson. He invited Britney to participate in the song 'The Way You Make Me Feel' in celebration of her 30th anniversary.
03 – Me Against The Music/Baby One More Time/Slave 4 U (Live at NFL 2003)
Britney performed at the 2003 NFL with a medley of Me Against The Music (still without the participation of Madonna), Baby One More Time and Slave 4 U. The breathtaking performance is considered one of the best Britney has ever done. Me Against The Music:
02 – I'm A Slave 4 U (Live at Video Music Awards 2001)
A milestone in the history of Pop music. Britney performs, after a while away from the media, with her single I'm A Slave 4 U dancing like never before and then wrapped around her neck with a yellow Python. The performance is remembered by MTV every year as one of the best ever done.
01 – Like A Virgin/Hollywood with Madonna, Christina Aguilera & Missy Elliot (Live at Video Music Awards 2003)
If it was to make history, they did it. Britney, Madonna and Christina Aguilera hosted a wedding on the MTV VMA stage to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the awards show. Britney appears as a bride on top of a wedding cake, exactly as Madonna did in the first edition, shortly after comes Christina Aguilera, also as a bride, then Madonna arrives dressed as a groom to formalize the marriage with a kiss between them both.
