A Manchester Pride, the English city's LGBT pride parade, is the latest to be canceled due to the new coronavirus pandemic.

The organizers announced the decision this Monday (11). They stated that, although it would be difficult not to see the 2020 edition happen, it is the best thing to do, since the lockdown continues to be practiced in the United Kingdom.

“The current situation is incredibly uncertain and it would be a huge risk to go ahead with plans to hold the festival this year,” they said.
