Passenger could be sentenced to 10 years in prison for touching flight attendant's penis

According to information from the English newspaper The Sun, Thomas Sleigh, 45 years old, married and father of three children, could be sentenced to 10 years in prison for touching a flight attendant's penis and asking if she “is gay”. The case happened in September 2016, during a Ryanair flight from Murcia, Spain, to Manchester, England. The family was returning from vacation. According to the publication, the accused had had three beers, which would have left him a little “excited”. When the flight attendant stopped by to collect magazines, Thomas touched his genitals and asked him about his sexuality. In court, the commissioner said he did not answer the question, only warning the man to “never touch that area (penis) again.” At that moment, Sleigh's daughter, who had also been drinking, intervened, claiming that her father was “joking”. As soon as the flight reached its final destination, Thomas was arrested. In court, the defendant said that he was arguing with his wife and that at the time of the incident, she “elbowed him (his) right arm, which caused my hand to accidentally hit (the flight attendant's) groin”. Thomas Sleigh further explained that he has a gay son and denies that he called the plaintiff gay. The man was found guilty of sexual assault and is awaiting sentencing.
