Play by Walcyr Carrasco about homophobic taxi driver who picks up customers premieres in SP

The play "Desamor", written by global soap opera author Walcyr Carrasco, tells the story of a taxi driver who works with his customers to earn extra money during the races.

The monologue takes place in a bar, where the lonely taxi driver, already drunk, talks to an imaginary customer, remembering the meeting that just occurred between the two. According to Walcyr, the play is based on a real event he experienced.

To spice up the story, the taxi driver/driver is homophobic. Actor Dionísio Neto was chosen to bring the character to life. The preview of the play takes place at Satyrianas, Espaço Satyros theater festival, this Friday (02), at 0:05 am. Entry is free.

From November 16th, the play goes on display at Blue Space, with performances every Friday until December 14th. If you are interested in the theme of the show, you will also like the article from A Capa with reports from prostitutes.
