The new coronavirus pandemic can stop a lot of things – except love. Proof of this is the couple's story Chad e Paul Beanblossom, from Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, who adopted the teenager via Zoom session Michael, 17, after the boy spent five years without a permanent home after losing his mother. The information is from Good Morning America (A B C).

The session had to take place remotely because of the pandemic – but it was possible even in the same scenario, in the presence of 80 people, including family, friends and professionals in the adoption area of the American Justice Department.

Michael had already lived with the Beanblossoms in 2019, and he himself asked the couple to become their children.

In a Facebook post, Chad stated that “it didn’t take long” for the family to receive death threats after the news became national. “They will not overshadow Michael's story or the love we have for our son!” he said.

Chad and Paul have been married for five years and have biological children and grandchildren.
