According to the SEADE Foundation (State Data Analysis System), after a survey in the Piracicaba region, an increase in homosexual marriages was found there.
The region had 77 same-sex marriages, with surveys carried out in the cities of Capivari, Charqueada, Cosmópolis, Limeira, Nova Odessa, Rio das Pedras, Santa Bárbara D'Oeste, São Pedro and Engenheiro Coelho. The city of Piracicaba came first with the most weddings, with a total of 22.
