After a comment made on Facebook by an internet user calling on people to form a “gay extermination group” in Goiás, the State Civil Police decided to begin an investigation.
During a live broadcast of the Goiás newspaper O Popular, a profile made a comment with homophobic attacks along with a Whatsapp number for anyone who wanted to get in touch.. “Now with the victory of our myth Bolsonaro, let's fight together for the Brazilian family and for put an end to these children of the devil.”
The case is being investigated by the State Police for the Repression of Cybercrimes (DERCC). And according to delegate Sabrina Leles Lima Miranda, the person identified in the profile was interviewed and denied that the profile was hers. She claimed that they created a fake with her name and photo and that she decided to go to the police station to help solve the case.
