São Paulo City Hall produces video to attract gay tourists to the city

Several cities around the world produce videos to attract gay tourists. Here in Brazil, Rio did a really cool job.

Now it's São Paulo's turn to step forward and show that it is one of the gayest cities in the world. The City Hall in partnership with SP Turis, the city's tourism body, is producing a promotional video focusing on gay tourism.

Filming is taking place in several clubs in São Paulo, musical shows and also in points of great gay concentration, such as the Jardins neighborhood and Largo do Arouche.

The idea is to show that São Paulo is a city that is tolerant of diversity and that it has many attractions for gay tourists, whether from within or outside the country.

The video will be ready in May and will have two versions. A short one, to be broadcast on TV and a longer one, which will be shown on social media and at tourism events around the world.
