The first edition of the Porn “Oscar” takes place in November, with the aim of giving more visibility and credibility to the British XXX film industry. The awards include categories such as best actor and actress, soundtrack, screenplay, production and best gay and lesbian film, for a total of 37 awards. The porn segment in England is worth more than US$1 billion and organizers hope the event will become as famous as the Hollywood original. The awards ceremony is scheduled for November 17th in London, at the Hammersmith Palais.
