If you have a past to hide, have no doubt that, sooner or later, thanks to the advent of social networks, it will end up "appearing" on the internet.
It was like this with the mathematics professor at La Sapienza University, in Rome, Ruggero Freddi, which saw his past as a gay porn actor brought to light, thanks to the curiosity of his students. It all started when the teacher published a video on his social media profile practicing exercises, which left the students intrigued by the teacher's muscularity and good shape.
Speaking to the Italian website "Republica", Freddi said that he was not upset by his students' invasion and knew that, at one time or another, they would end up finding out. "Some students published the photo on some websites and, from then on, my life as a porn actor became news. To be honest, it was never a secret," he said.
Freddi revealed that his past as a porn actor was caused by a lack of opportunities. Initially, he intended to work in engineering, but with no offer in the area, an invitation came from a North American producer, and he agreed.
"I was offered to make a film in the USA. I thought: 'Why not?', a job that helps me earn more and is a more fun career," he said. Ruggero worked in the adult film industry until 2013, when he returned to Italy, obtained a master's degree in mathematics and began teaching. He currently lives with his partner, Gustavo Alejandro, with whom he has been in a relationship for 11 years.
In the porn industry, he was known as Carlo Mais, and played a hard sex bodybuilder, at the production company Colt Studios, in California. Fortunately, his past did not bring any problems to his current profession.
