The Bataclan project is about to debut on nightlife in São Paulo. Created by Murilo Flores, drag performer Natasha Rasha, the party will bring together performances by dancers, singers, comedy sketches, among other attractions, on the same night.
The idea is that interventions take place throughout the night. "Each edition will have a special theme and we will have performances of between 20 and 40 minutes throughout the night", explains Murilo.
Bataclan wants to take the public into the show, with interventions from the reception to various spaces in the club. "We're going to do everything with great humor. We'll have musical and humor performances, even a burlesque performance will take place", says the artist.
Along with Murilo, or rather Natasha, two other well-known figures from the night will be present: Silvetty Montilla and Thalia Bombinha. The trio, in addition to entertaining the audience with their performances, will also act as a DJ. "We will have sets of Latin music, funk, flashback, the idea is to please all audiences", says Murilo.
Bataclan sought inspiration from parties that marked an era in São Paulo's nightlife. "I was one of the last artists to work at the Rave club. There we always had themed parties, 'Fitness Night', 'Mystic Night', in short, and the entire staff, including the DJ, became part of the story", he recalls he, who created the project because he felt a lack of similar elements in the São Paulo nightlife. "Typically, clubs invest more in the DJ, or the type of music, sometimes there is a show at the beginning of the party, but the idea doesn't continue throughout the night."
The debut of the project will be on May 12th, Thursday, at the Cantho club. "We chose Cantho for its location and space, which allows us to develop the project's conception well. All the artists who are participating are embracing the idea, we hope the public comes and everything goes well." Completing the night, there is DJ Paulo Ciotti's DJ Paulo Ciotti.
