What a stage! French artist sues Lady Gaga for plagiarism and asks for compensation of R$71 million

Lady Gaga is missing, it's true! But her name keeps popping up in international tabloids. If the news was good, fine. But not! Once again the singer is accused of plagiarism, this time by the French artist Orlan, who is asking for compensation of 71 million.

According to Orlan, Gaga appropriated her universe of bodily mutations to build the visual universe of the album and tour "Born This Way", which came to Brazil. The French artist claims that in the music video, Gaga appears with her head decapitated, a scene that refers to the sculpture "Femme Avec Tête" (woman with a head) that Orlan made in 1996.

Furthermore, Orlan states that the singer made a clear reproduction of her real implants, on her forehead, where she appears in the scene with two horns.

Gaga seems to be used to the accusations. Three years ago, when she appeared in the meat dress at the MTV Video Music Awards ceremony, the singer was accused of copying the model from artist Jana Sterbak.
