Do you want to get married? Go to Buenos Aires! City now allows gay marriage for tourists

The city of Buenos Aires has become the third district in Argentina to allow gay marriage for tourists. The districts of Santa Fé and Tierra del Fuego already allowed the same.

Australian Alexander Greenwich and German Victor Höld, who live in Sydney, decided to make their union official in Buenos Aires, as same-sex unions are not yet legal in Australia.

The couple had been together for 4 years. Alexandre runs a campaign in favor of gay marriage in Australia. A law on the subject will be discussed in the country's congress in August.

This is the second gay wedding of tourists in Argentina. Paraguayans Simón Cazal and Sergio López had already gotten married in the city of Rosário.

Before the wedding ceremony between Alexander and Victor, a press conference was organized by the airline Aerolíneas Argentinas, which supports gay marriage in the country and was responsible for the couple's arrival from Australia.
