Rafael Cardoso poses with his family campaigning for LGBT rights

The actor Rafael Cardoso, who is on the air as the good guy in the soap opera Imperío, on TV Globo, decided to show that he is also engaged in the fight for LGBT rights.

The heartthrob posed with his family and participated in the "In Defense of All Families" campaign.

In the image, Rafael appears with his wife Mariana Bridi, mother-in-law Sonia Bridi, daughter Aurora, four months old, and other family members defending same-sex marriage and adoption by homosexuals.

"My family #defendingallfamilies," he wrote. "Family is love, no matter sexual orientation or biological relationship. Let's not let Congress stop ALL families united by love from being recognized as real families," he said.

The campaign is against the deputy's Family Statute replacement project. Eduardo Cunha, which aims to defend that family should be seen as just men or women and that only heterosexual couples can adopt.
