The American rapper Da Brat, 45, came out of the closet and admitted she was engaged to the cosmetics businesswoman Jesseca Dupart.
In a post on Instagram, the artist showed that she received a big car as a birthday gift from her fiancée.
Da Brat wrote in the caption that she is a “kind of reserved” person and, therefore, had not made their relationship public. However, happiness spoke so loudly that she decided to do it.
“My 'better half' handles things differently than I do. Thank you, dear, for so much more than this incredible birthday gift. I never felt that. [Our love] is so dazzling that I'm often left in a daze, hoping I'll never be pinched to see if this is real, so I can live in that dream forever,” she said.
