Recife will have a joint effort to help trans people change their name and gender on documents

Next Wednesday (5), a joint effort will take place in Recife to help transsexuals and transvestites change their names in the civil registry. The event will be organized by the Center to Combat Homophobia in the state of Pernambuco.

To participate in the action, you must bring updated birth or marriage certificates, originals and copies, in addition to your identity card. The event will take place in the auditorium of the Executive Secretariat for Human Rights, in the Espinheiro neighborhood, Rua Santo Aleias, from 9am to 16pm.
