The people who come to Europe recruit members to fight alongside the Islamic State (IS) force candidates to attack homosexuals, to demonstrate their ability to fight in Syria.

The information comes from the EFE news agency, which cites the Belgian tabloid Het Nieuwsblad.
The complaint was made by a jihadist fighter arrested by Belgian Justice and the attacks – which would have occurred in the second half of 2015 – served to demonstrate that the recruits were good jihadists and courageous enough to fight in Syria.
The detained minor confessed to Belgian justice that he had committed six attacks against homosexuals, along with other candidates to join IS, adding that if he had not been arrested, "he would probably be in Syria now."
The attackers roamed the neighborhoods Brussels gays and they lured the victims, taking them home, where they mistreated them until they revealed where they had money and other valuables.
According to one of the investigators, the attacks also served to raise funds for fighters in Syria.
The suspect in the Paris attacks in November, who is still at large, Salah Abdeslam, was seen in bars frequented by homosexuals days before the attacks.
