The website's editors are publicly apologizing for the lack of updates

This post in this space called “Editorial Blog” is an apology. We, members of the website and magazine The Cape We think it is extremely important to make it clear to you, our readers, the reasons for the terrible update that this website has received this past Tuesday and Wednesday.

We know how fast it takes to update websites on the internet. We also know the importance of offering you the best possible service in terms of writing, investigating and checking information. All this in real time.

So for that reason, we at the editorial team apologize, we recognize that we did not do a good job during these two days. The reason is very big, but there is only one: closure! This is the name given when we finish editing the magazine before it is sent to the printer. It's a pleasant service, but very rushed, believe me. It consists of finishing the layout of each page, reviewing texts, editing images, all-at-the-same-time-now because every minute is precious.

Another thing that took away from the team was that one of our editors, Diego, fell ill this week, and, consequently, we accumulated functions to cover his absence. No big deal, change of weather. But with a magazine, website, guide, hot site and stop, it becomes just a mess. Sorry! Well, it ended up being left for you readers.

So that's it readers The Cape. That's it and we apologize. We insist on the request and hope that you continue to honor, praise and criticize our work. It's 6 am and after two late nights, the magazine is finally at the printer, in the printing phase. Starting today, we return to our normal schedule.

A kiss from the Editorial Team!
