A report on the lives of trans women in prison do Fantastic (TV Globo), presented by Drauzio Varella and shown last Sunday (1), fortunately it has had great repercussions.
Many viewers were touched by the story of Suzy Oliveira, who is serving his sentence at Penitentiary I José Parada Neto, in Guarulhos (SP), and told the doctor that he had not received a visit for eight years. She told Varella:
In prison you are forced to prostitute yourself for toothpaste, soap, a plate of food.
Then, SAP (Secretariat of Penitentiary Administration) released the address of the place (see below) for Suzy to receive letters. She also announced that she receives 75% of the minimum wage for the work she does inside the prison, as well as receiving personal hygiene items from the Penitentiary.
