Every year end I try to do a retrospective, but I end up giving up because fortunately the years have been very intense. I will try, but knowing the risk of forgetting important moments.
The year 2011 started the same way it will end, together with great friends in a beach house. Tomorrow I'm going straight to this house. At midnight on the 31st, we entered the pool with our clothes on and everything, it became a lucky ritual that is working very well.
In February we visited the paradise of Fernando de Noronha, we stayed there much less time than we wanted, but I'm still planning our return much more carefully for 2012.
In March, during Carnival week, the new layout of the A Capa website was uploaded. We had already been using the old version for more than two years and were dreaming about the new version. We still love this version, it is modern, clean and serves us well, I believe it should arrive by 2013. We closed 2011 by signing an excellent contract on the new version of Disponivel.com, which should arrive by May 2012, it was a One of the biggest and best contracts I've ever signed. It was also in March that we launched an application for iPhone and Android, as well as the A Capa mobile website.
Carnival was really good in Florianópolis with a group of friends, we had a barbecue, jumped in the pool, had drinks on the beach and worked on Disponivel.com's carnival activities. For this carnival, I will be in San Francisco, but Disponivel's actions will have a surprise that will give people something to talk about in Floripa. In Rio and the northeast, it will not be left behind either.
It was also in 2011 that Augusto continued with our party season in 15 cities in Brazil, it was great for the site to see its partner clubs and also take a top DJ to these cities, 8 years very well celebrated. We are already producing the 9th anniversary celebrations, and planning the 10th anniversary celebrations.
It was in April 2011 my first trip to the United States, it was 30 days divided between Orlando, Miami and New York. Unforgettable moments. Broadway, Disney and the beaches and shopping of Miami.
In May we celebrated the recognition of same-sex couples as family entities. That day we went to Paulista to celebrate with friends and it was very important.
This May we started preparations for the gay parade, you could say we do everything with one foot behind us, but there is always something new, we had a stand at the Vieira cultural fair, and also the Mister Diversity competition at Teatro Brigadeiro.
We were also on several stops around Brazil. Just as it is part of our DNA, it is a moment that we always make a point of participating and being part of.
In July I went with a group of friends on a trip to Europe, it was the first time I went with a group, it was really good, we got to know new places, like Tunisia among other cities, and I saw places I love like Madrid, Barcelona, Rome and London. The experience was so good that I'm going to repeat it in January.
In August and September we intensified the appearance of Disponivel.com abroad, we participated in Gnetwork in Buenos Aires, and we launched Disponible.com.ar there, we are still implementing it despite there already being a good flow of users there. We already have a representative in the city, we are already advertising in several vehicles, and in February 2012 we will have more news.
It was in September that our partnership with UOL began. We had been negotiating for 2 years, but we were never able to reach an agreement, but it worked and continues to work very well.
A Capa magazine completed 50 editions! We made a special edition with a party and also many graphic and editorial changes.
Now in the month of October we have joined the Gugah portal and are offering various products to Disponivel users and website readers ACapa and Dykerama. It's been a great experience, there are party tickets, swim trunks, clothes and also sexyshop items that can already be seen in Disponivel.com users' videos.
In December we carried out our fourth action in favor of the Breenda Lee house, we had excellent results, in January we will be accountable to everyone.
For 2012 there are many new features, new layout of Dykerama, Sejoga, Disponivel.com, new party season, new program on TV A Capa, 4 new websites, electric trio, actions in Argentina and much more. Very much looking forward to another wonderful year ahead. I wish everyone much happiness in the new year.
I continue to learn a lot, but I had a clarification, there is no point in numerology, religion, stars, or any other mesticism, there is a very simple equation for this to all work out very well, having a product that people are interested in buying, working hard, having the reach to reach consumers, and doing everything ethically and not just thinking about yourself, it is necessary to think about everyone around you, think about consumers, employees and suppliers.
