Magazine aimed at lesbians will be distributed throughout the United States

The lesbian magazine Jane and Jane announced this Monday (28) that it will no longer be distributed only in California, where it originated, but will be sold throughout the United States.

Launched in May 2006, the publication started small, but quickly became a hit among dykes. As the blog highlights Queerty.com, even though magazines are starting to feel a decline in advertising, co-editor Debbie Wells' decision is quite brave.

“We know the risks we are taking with this transition, but we have faith that it is the best decision for us, as well as for the entire lesbian community. Currently, there are not many magazines aimed at lesbian audiences that are distributed nationally and we believe that Jane and Jane will be part of a necessary niche”, says Wells.

Other important publications aimed at the same audience are the American “Curve” and the English “DIVA”.

No website from Jane and Jane, you can subscribe to the magazine, even if you don't live in the United States.
