And it was with this audience in mind that Nova Aliança was created, a taxi cooperative specialized in serving the GLBT community. According to journalist Ancelmo Goes, from the newspaper “O Globo”, in his Gente Boa column, the fleet has 20 cars and travels through the streets of Ipanema, Copacabana, Leblon and other neighborhoods in the South Zone.
