Even during the new coronavirus pandemic, a protest for the rights of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender population marked last Sunday (28), International LGBT Pride Day, in Copacabana. The information is from the newspaper The Globe.

Wearing masks, protesters shed light on how Covid-19 has affected LGBT people.

“We have served many transvestites at the NGO. The majority depend on the street to earn a living, through prostitution, because they have no access to the job market. This is historic. We heard reports of extreme difficulties”, said Márcio Villard, general coordinator of the NGO Grupo pela Vidda, in an interview with the publication.
