RJ: Grupo Arco-Íris announces campaign to protect LGBT people from coronavirus

The LGBT entity Rainbow Group, from Rio, recently announced a campaign to protect gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and intersex people amid the new coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic.

According to a statement from the institution, the objective is to provide social, economic and psychological support for those who fit the profiles covered by the entity, collecting personal hygiene materials and food and providing emotional comfort to those who need it during the period of social distancing. The campaign also seeks to spread information about Covid-19.

The money received to make basic food baskets and provide the necessary logistical structure for the items to be distributed.
