Rodrigo Simas speaks against homophobia after prejudice against soap opera character

Playing the brother of a homosexual in the soap opera “Orgulo e passion”, which airs at 18pm on TV Globo, Rodrigo Simas wrote a text against prejudice. “If you have prejudice, whatever it may be, stop and show your respect. It is regrettable that even today, in 2018, millions of people suffer the consequences of unacceptable judgments. Let’s evolve”, wrote the actor. On Instagram, Simas' text was accompanied by an excerpt from the scene in which Juliano Laham's character reveals that he doesn't like a girl, but rather a boy. “Never let anyone diminish you because of who you are. Not even saying who you should or shouldn't love. Only our hearts can say that, only him”, said Ernesto, Rodrigo Simas’ character.
