Rômulo Arantes says that the gigolo character “will sell himself” to a gay blogger in “Império”

In addition to the four gay, bisexual and transvestite characters, the soap opera Império, on TV Globo, will address the case of people who get involved with others of the same sex for financial reasons.

The paper was left for Romulo Neto, who plays a born freeloader. The character explores his family and will also explore the gay blogger Téo Pereira, played by the actor Paulo Betti, who is enchanted by the handsome guy.

"I don't know if they will get physically involved, but I know they will have a voyeuristic relationship. He sells himself in a certain scene and Téo ends up buying it", declared the actor to the newspaper Folha de São Paulo.

Rômulo states that the character is not a villain or gay at first, but that he may discover himself depending on what happens with the blogger. "I think his sexual ethics will be governed by his professional ethics."
