The newest candidate for Mister Brasil Diversity is Lucas Rafael Ribeiro Vargas, representative of the state of Rio Grande do Sul. Rafael is 19 years old and is in high school.
"I've lived in Porto Alegre since I was 2 years old and even though it's a capital, prejudice here is very strong. I have to deal with those who constantly criticize me. That's why I'm here to represent my state I'm very flattered!" says Rafael.
The final of the Mister Brasil Diversity competition will be on June 23rd at Teatro Brigadeiro, in São Paulo, during Gay Pride week.
