The iconic singer Barry manilow, 76, said coming out at 73 was “great.”

Known for hits such as “Could It Be Magic”, “Mandy”, “Can't Smile Without You” and “Copacabana (At the Copa)”, the American said in a recent interview with the program Good Morning Britain (ITV) that today, with more than 50 years of career and after 40 years of relationship with a woman, his manager Garry Kief, his fans want him to be happy.

“Well, if I had come out much earlier, I think it would have affected my career a lot. But when Garry and I decided to do it [in 2017], being gay and alive was already accepted, so nothing changed,” she said.

“The only difference is that people are happy for me. They just want me to be happy. I kind of expected that and these people are great, it’s great.”

It's never too late to be happy, don't you think?
