Singer Sandy was interviewed by the newspaper "O Globo", last Saturday (24), to talk about her participation in the series "As Brasileiras". In the episode "A Reaitária do Pantanal", Sandy will play a woman who has strong prejudice against gays.
In real life, the singer raised the community's flag. "I see it as a natural thing. I'm in favor of gay marriage. I think everyone has the same rights and has to be happy. The biggest problem today is homophobia, a heinous, cruel crime. Sometimes we focus on large centers, and forget that in the interior of the country, in the backward strongholds, homophobia is present in a much more savage way, given the absence of the State", said Sandy.
The girl also declared that she is in favor of the decriminalization of abortion and that even though she participated in the series, she does not consider herself an actress. "I was playing at being an actress. In these moments I can be called an actress, but I don't have that training."
