With almost 30 years of history, the British magazine "Elle" got it right by choosing its first male cover. It is with player David Beckham, 37, showing off his six-pack that the publication is already celebrating the success of the magazine, which will hit newsstands in July.
"He is an icon and the magazine is recognized for always featuring icons on the cover. He is admired by men and women. Who doesn't want to see photos of one of the most handsome men in the world on the cover?", commented Lorraine Candy, editor of " Elle."
In the photos, which you can see below, Beckham appears in two cover options. In the first, shirtless coming out of the water. In the other, more behaved, with his face and tattoos highlighted. There’s no need to say which one we prefer, right?
