PSOL senator takes action at the Ethics Council against deputy Jair Bolsonaro

A new representation against deputy Jair Bolsonaro (PR-RJ) for breach of parliamentary decorum was presented today at the Ethics Council of the Chamber of Deputies. This time, the action comes from the PSOL party, which had its senator Marinor Brito morally offended in her parliamentary activity by the deputy.

"Everyone must be respected. I was disrespected by that deputy, who caused me embarrassment in front of dozens of people", explained Marinor Brito.

The senator refers to the fact that at the end of the meeting of the Senate Human Rights Commission, when voting on Bill 122/2006, which criminalizes homophobia, Bolsonaro offended her by saying, among other quotes, that she was "heterophobic ".

Marinor Brito will take criminal action against Bolsonaro for moral damages and insult, with a request for reparation and criminal and civil penalties. According to the president of the Council, José Carlos Araújo, there are eight other cases against Bolsonaro being processed in the House.
