AJ and the Queen, comedy series starring RuPaul, was canceled shortly after two months of debut. The drag queen announced Netflix's decision this Monday (9) on Twitter.

“It’s the end of the road for AJ and the Queen. Netflix has decided not to extend our road trip across America,” RuPaul wrote in the tweet. “Thank you everyone for your love and support. We are all proud of the work.”

The artist refers to the plot of the series when mentioning “travel”: in the program, RuPaul plays a man who works in drag and travels across the United States in a trailer to recover financially after a scam.
