Series will show the first gay kiss in Brazilian television drama

Actors Maurício Branco and Rodrigo Candelot will star in the first gay kiss in Brazilian television drama. The scene will appear in the miniseries "Natália", which will be shown on TV Brasil.

In the plot, Maurício will play a booker from a modeling agency called Glória and will have a French boyfriend played by Rodrigo. The series tells the story of Natália, played by Aisha Jambo, who lives in the suburb of Marechal Hermes and dreams of becoming a model. Claudia Ohana will play Maria Isabel, owner of the modeling agency.

"The character is not a stereotypical gay. He helps in the process of transforming the humble girl into an international top", says Maurício Branco. The actor, in fact, recently participated in the program "Amor & Sexo", leading the segment "Gayme", which consisted of a dispute between gays.

"Natália" premieres this Sunday (1st), at 22:30 pm. In total there will be 13 episodes directed by Marcus Baldini, the same director of the feature film "Bruna Surfistinha". The series was recorded between August and October 2010.
