Series “Ó ​​Pai, Ó” ​​will have a lesbian and transvestite character

The series “Ó ​​Pai, Ó”, which premieres this Friday (31) on TV Globo, will feature fun and emblematic gay characters. The six-episode story is based on the film by Monique Gardenberg and stars Lázaro Ramos.

In the series, actress Tânia Toko plays the character Neusão ​​da Rocha, who according to the synopsis is a “stiff dyke, always involved with the stories of the tenement residents, who frequent her bar and take her as a confidant. Due to the friendship she has for everyone, she sells on credit and lives with cash problems”. Actor Lyu Arisson plays Yolanda, “bold, naughty and sharp-tongued transvestite, lives behind Reginaldo (Érico Brás)”.

“Ó Pai, Ó” ​​revolves around the lives of the residents of a tenement in the historic center of Salvador, where the owner of the property is Joana (Luciana Souza), a blessed woman who gives no peace and takes care of everyone's lives.

Monique Gardenberg, who directs the program, has already warned that “several serious issues will be treated with a lot of humor, in a light way. Such as the lack of vacancies in public hospitals and the adoption of children by homosexual couples”.
