Singer Shawn Mendes declared that he is not very happy about rumors about his sexuality in an interview with The Guardian. The information is from QUEM magazine.
“These rumors hurt me. I get angry when people assume things about me because I imagine how others who don't have the same support and support that I have feel”, explained the singer.
“That's why I get so angry and still bother myself. I don't think people understand that when they say things like that about me, they are hurting a lot of other people. They may not be being targeted, but they are hearing all that”, he lamented.
He also recalled an interview he gave to Rolling Stone in 2018, where he reported that he felt obligated to be seen with a girl, to prove that he is not gay.
