"I'm sensitive. I don’t feel gay because of it”, says Reynaldo Gianecchini

The September edition of GQ Brasil magazine features a special interview with Reynaldo Gianecchini, which also illustrates the cover of the edition.

In a 10-page article signed by Fred Melo Paiva and with photos by Daniel Klajmic, Giane poses in clothes from brands such as Hermès, Zegna, Armani Exchange and Dolce & Gabbana. In the chat, he talks about his experience with lymphatic cancer discovered in 2011 and from which he has now been cured, the death of his father, also from cancer, about his children and reaching the age of 40.

Among other confessions, Marília Gabriela's ex says that he is a man of extremes and that he has already lived a "Zen-Buddhist" phase, when he was a model and sought to connect with the "cosmos", to later live a party phase, of going out for the night seven times a week. Giane also confessed that she does not plan to have children.

Regarding cancer, Reynaldo stated that he experienced fear and tried to connect with what was inside himself, following his father's journey. The actor, who will be in the remake of Battle of the sexes, the next soap opera at 19pm on Rede Globo, also said that the disease gave him a feeling of being "macho", although not in the sense of sexuality: "The disease gave me this idea of putting my dick on the table, of being more master of my life, of having the reins with me. It's something that also comes with being 40, because you're no longer a boy who has to please everyone. But cancer accelerated that in me", he says. "I could be fragile, crying in my corner. I chose to be male."

The word, however, made Melo Paiva's article head towards the sexual area. According to the writer, the "story that he is gay" is a subject that manages to throw Gianecchini off his feet. "I think it's really stupid that people try to put you in certain drawers, especially in this department that's so crazy, right? I don't know how this story comes about, but there's also something that I don't care what they think", says Giane. "I think human beings are very crazy. Saying that you have to be that guy who doesn't drink, I don't know what... Ok, but you're a guy who doesn't drink who can eventually drink, you know? Human beings It's not just one thing", concludes the actor.

Later on, Reynaldo Gianecchini says that, because he was raised with many women at his side, he became a more sensitive man: "I'm a sensitive person and I think it's cool to be like that. I don't feel gay because of that. On the contrary, I feel like a very man – a sensitive man. That's cool", he concludes.
