Registration for the Call for the Promotion of Cultural Demonstrations with LGBT Themes, of the Cultural Action Program, has been open since May 17th.
Responsible for the notice, the State Secretariat for Culture increased the budget for this edition from R$500 to R$700.
Registration is open for projects in any area of culture – such as DVD recording, book production, holding events and staging theatrical shows – as long as they focus on the issue of sexual diversity. In total, 34 projects will be selected, six projects worth R$10, 20 projects worth R$20 and eight projects worth R$30.
The action is carried out in partnership with the Secretariat of Justice and Defense of Citizenship of the State of São Paulo, through the Coordination of Policies for Sexual Diversity.
