Spice Girls announce comeback and world tour; Buenos Aires is on the list

The British group Spice Girls announced today (28) their return to showbiz and a world tour, six years after the troupe's disbandment.

The announcement was made by the group at a press conference held at the O2 stadium in London. All the members of Spice participated: Victoria Beckham, Melanie Brown, Melanie Chisholm, Emma Bunton and Geri Halliwell were there.

The Spice Girls perform on December 7th in Los Angeles, then proceed to Las Vegas, New York, London, Cologne, Madrid, Beijing, Hong Kong, Sydney, Cape Town and, finally, landing in Buenos Aires.

The pop group disbanded in May 1998 when Geri Halliwell announced her departure. At the top of the charts for a long time, hits like Wannabe and Say You'll Be There helped the “spicy girls” album sell 55 million copies.
