Suspect of having killed a homosexual is arrested in the interior of Pará

Last weekend, in Maracanã, in the northeast region of Pará, Gilberto Egues da Costa, 26 years old, known as Beto, was arrested. He is accused of having murdered the homosexual Gilberto Sena Martins, 32. The crime took place last Friday (10/01), in the region known as "Campo do Ipiranga".

According to a report in the Diário do Pará newspaper, Beto was invited by the victim for an intimate meeting, however, the invitation was refused.

Then, Carocinho, the victim's nickname, said he had passed AIDS to the accused's brother. After this revelation, the accused beat the victim and then applied a rear naked choke that led Gilberto Sena Martins to death. The crime was committed by Gilberto Egues da Costa, who was arrested on Saturday night and later transferred to the Salgado Regional Superintendence, in Castanhal, as a security measure.
