Thomas Beatie, the 'pregnant man', releases book telling about his life and pregnancy

After publishing an article in the North American magazine 'The Advocate' at the beginning of the year, protesting against the prejudice he had been suffering due to his pregnancy, Thomas Beatie became known as the 'pregnant man'.

Thomas is a transgender man and gave birth to a girl in July this year. Now he intends to release a memoir recounting this experience.

In the work, titled 'Labor of Love', Thomas recounts his childhood in Hawaii, reveals details of his transition from female to male and about his marriage to Nancy.

The book also addresses the prejudices that Thomas faced in order to be the first transsexual to conceive a child.
