On social media, Marianna opened up about the exhibition, which was allegedly made by a soldier, and revealed that she had received several phone calls. She filed a police report on Friday (25).

"I arrived to enlist at 7am and left at 7:30am. Everything went quickly and I left without having suffered any prejudice. But when it got close to 14pm I started receiving calls from people looking for me using my registered name", he declared. Later, she learned that photos of her were circulating on social media.

She claims that her family supports her and that she went with her mother to the barracks to inform the commander about what happened. "We spoke with Captain França. He apologized for the soldiers' childishness, but asked me to let the dust settle and asked me to change my cell phone number to stop the calls. As if that would solve the problem of having disclosed my address and my all documents", he declared.

Currently, Mariana is staying with relatives and is afraid of suffering prejudice on the streets. The case is being monitored by the lawyer Patricia Gorisch, president of the National Commission on Homoaffective Law of the Brazilian Institute of Family Law.

"We are going to file a complaint with the National Human Rights Secretariat, as it is important for the government to take a position on the case. There was a military and civil crime, disrespect for the ECA [Statute of Children and Adolescents]. There is also the aggravating factor of Law 10.948 /01, which administratively punishes transphobia, with very strong penalties in financial terms. Anyone who shares and distributes hate on the internet will also be punished", said the lawyer.
